At the Design Council I work with public and private sector partners across the UK to help them set up and deliver the Designing Demand programme in their region.
Before joining the Design Council I managed a private-public sector consortium delivering a government business support initiative in the South East called Train to Gain, which aims to boost UK businesses by improving the skills of staff.
Over the last six years I have have worked in the public and private sectors to encourage collaboration between training providers such as schools, FE, work-based learning and adult and community learning, and to rationalise the plethora of existing local partnership arrangements covering post-16 learning.
