Lorraine Taylor
Head of Operations
Lorraine Taylor is Head of Operations at the Design Council where she’s overseeing the business transformation to support our new Design for Planet Mission. She has overall responsibility for delivering on organisational change, process, systems, technology, compliance and quality as well as deputising for the Director of Finance and Operations.
Before joining Design Council, Lorraine held a number of roles at BLP Insurance, where as Transformation and Change Manager she oversaw system implementations and moved the organisation to digital document filing.
Lorraine has 13 years of experience in the latent defect insurance sector (new home warranties) and as a Director of The Consumer Code for New Homes she championed consumer rights ensuring developers met their obligations.
Lorraine is a certified Change Management Practitioner. She has a passion for marine conservation and is particularly at home under water in her scuba gear.
