Jasmine Craven-Huffer

Jasmine is an experienced designer specializing in high-quality solid wood furniture. Working for Konk Furniture, her work has been exhibited at London Design Fair and Celebration of Craftsmanship & Design. Jasmine designs and manages the product range alongside bespoke work for various private and commercial clients. As Senior Designer & Design Manager, Jasmine leads a team overseeing design development, procurement, and production through to content creation. Jasmine successfully introduced SolidWorks to Konk, completing 200 hours of CPD training to achieve her Professional Advanced Certifications: CSWPA-DT, CSWPA-SM, and CSWPA-WD. Through her vision that a responsible designer must combat the throwaway culture of modern society, Jasmine's passion for woodwork harnesses the material's innate sustainability. Her designs are built to last, combining traditional joinery and modern manufacturing. Jasmine's work considers repairability alongside the emotional attachment consumers have with their possessions to prevent furniture from being needlessly disposed of. Jasmine has a First-Class Degree in Three Dimensional Design: Furniture & Product Design from Northumbria University. She achieved the highest faculty mark for her dissertation on biomimicry and sustainability. Jasmine's first furniture range was exhibited at London Design Festival, winning the Rado Star Prize public vote.
