Becci is a Director at Arup, leading Retrofit at Scale and Housing businesses, and a Building Decarbonisation & Resilience team. Her team provides practical engineering-led advice to transform existing buildings. With 20 years of experience in sustainable development, supported by expertise in building physics and systems, she delivers low-carbon, climate-adapted buildings that enhance quality of life. Her work now extends to include system challenges of value coordination and policy. Becci translates research on health, climate, and housing into implementation at scale, recognizing that the way we build new homes and look after existing ones has a huge impact on people and the planet.

Becci has delivered projects in housing, arts & culture, and masterplanning globally. She is an experienced integrator, thriving on bringing diverse disciplines together. She is action-focused and disrupts industry norms to drive change, collaborating across the industry by advocating and convening as well as writing guidance. Recent work includes estate regeneration, retrofit delivery system development, and climate adaptation guidance. Becci is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers, leading the Overheating Knowledge Task Group, and is part of the Homes for the Future group. Additionally, she serves on the Connected Places Catapult Homes and Housing Advisory Board.
