Design Council partnership with The Pineapples awards and the Festival of Place at Tobacco Dock on Tuesday 9 July
Design Council is pleased to announce its role as headline partner for The Pineapples awards and partner for the Festival of Place which will be the summer’s leading event in the built environment calendar.
For one day only, Tobacco Dock will be transformed into an HQ for makers of place, bringing together developers, scientists, architects, investors, cities, planners, consultants, academics and designers to unlock how to make places that thrive.
Sarah Weir OBE says: “Our experience and evidence show that well-designed neighbourhoods can have a transformational impact on us all, improving health and wellbeing, enhancing the environment and stimulating the economy. We look forward to sharing our expertise and generating discussion with a range of first-class speakers and professionals, and to celebrating the very best in urban design – the places that we want to see created in towns and cities of the future.”
Entries are now open for The Pineapples – visit www.thepineapples.co.uk for more information.
