Exclusive category at health awards announced for MedTechSouthEast finalists

AXA PPP healthcare has confirmed the ten winners of MedTechSouthEast will be automatically entered into the Health Tech and You Awards 2016. This year, AXA has designated a special, exclusive category for MedTechSouthEast finalists called The Independent Living Award.

The initiative aims to recognise, celebrate and showcase the best in personal health technology innovations. This fantastic opportunity will mean the winners benefit from added exposure of the international awards programme, as well as the combined support, mentoring and expertise offered by Design Council and MedCity, and direct links to businesses and venture capitalists.

MedTechSouthEast has been designed to identify and develop the next generation of medical product innovations for assisted living. Entries must be submitted online by midday, Friday 23 October.

Entries will then be judged by our team of experts, and finalists will be invited to pitch their product ideas directly to the Selection Panel at a special event in London on the evening of Thursday 10 November.
