Join Design Council Director of Architecture and Built Environment Sue Morgan at MIPIM
Design Council’s Director of Architecture and Built Environment, Sue Morgan, will be at MIPIM, the world’s leading property market, 12-15 March 2019 at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France. Sue will be based at the London stand C15.
Sue is attending MIPIM to meet both UK and international housing, development and infrastructure businesses to talk to them about how Design Council can support them through design services and strategic design thinking. These services include independent and expert design consultation, design reviews, place shaping and community-led design development, drawing on Design Council’s 400-plus built environment experts in the UK. Design Council, now fully integrated with CABE, has an extensive track record of research, insight and innovation, working in housing, infrastructure and health.
Design Council recently launched our Inclusive Environments CPD, funded by MHCLG. The aim of the CPD is to transform the built environment professional's understanding of inclusive environments – whether that place is a school, office, park, street, care home, bus route or train station. Designing and managing the built environment in an inclusive way is essential if we are to create a fair society and a sustainable future.
At the launch of the Inclusive Environments CPD Sue Morgan said:
Inclusive environments are places that work better for everyone – whether they are schools, offices, parks, streets or train stations. They should be welcoming to everyone and responsive to diverse needs. Our new toolkit will guide anyone in the business of creating places towards best practice in inclusivity.
If you wish to meet with Sue during MIPIM please email Sabina Mohideen, Advisor – Cities Programme who will help arrange an appointment.
