Listen again to Harriet Vine's take 5 talk
Listen back to jewellery design maverick Harriet Vine talk about the top five inspirations behind her work.
Back in September, we were lucky enough to have the fabulous Harriet Vine – co-founder of jewellery brand, Tatty Devine, stop by for a take 5 talk. She shared the five key influences on her design work – herself, starting out, people and things, looking and finding; and love affairs.
Harriet took us right back to her childhood where she was inspired by her couture dressmaker mother and carpenter father, through to art college where she met Tatty Devine business partner Rosie Wolfenden - creating the brand after the pair found 18 bags of upholstery cuttings on the street which they fashioned into leather bracelets.
For those who couldn’t join us, listen back to the audio below for a 5 minute recap of Harriet’s passionate and inspiring talk.
The take 5 format is simple. We invite a designer to share five insights (spending about five minutes on each one). Then we open up to the floor for five questions. And tickets cost just £5 (including a free drink).
