Design Academy: Initial insights

This paper sets out what we have learned from our recently piloted Design Academy - an accelerated, applied learning programme built to strengthen students’ strategic design capabilities.

In this report we highlight the growth of design as a strategic tool for innovation and the opportunities that exist for students to enhance their skills and capabilities in this area.

The paper presents our early findings and insights from delivery of the programme in relation to students, universities and industry. It is written for those interested in developing the next generation of design talent.
