Healthy placemaking report
Design Council's Healthy Placemaking report explores the attitudes and behaviours of built environment practitioners towards healthy placemaking. The report makes a valuable contribution to the evidence base, highlighting for the first time the barriers which inhibit UK built environment practitioners from creating places that reduce cases of preventable disease and early death.
Produced in partnership with Social Change UK, the full report provides detailed insight on the barriers that prevent people working in the built environment from creating healthier places through their work, what they are already doing despite these barriers, and suggestions for how these barriers could be overcome in the future. A shorter executive summary of key findings is also available for download.
