Anna Rose

Anna is an architect and urban planner with expertise in advising on mixed-use masterplans, public realm projects, and complex public buildings and destinations. She’s been a board director at Space Syntax since 2007 and leads the company’s consulting activities in the UK and continental Europe. She speaks regularly at industry and academic events worldwide and is a member of the Academy of Urbanism. Her expertise targets the optimization of spatial connectivity for the benefit of human interaction, walkability, safety, and conviviality, as well as urban sustainability more generally. Anna has extensive experience advising both private and public sector clients on spatially complex development and masterplanning projects with a particular focus on the design of effective human behaviour and mobility patterns. On the building scale, Anna has experience advising on commercial, cultural, and education buildings, including laboratories, universities, museums, and theatres. Anna is also a qualified Yoga Teacher.

Outside work, she can often be found exploring London and its surroundings by bicycle.
