Craig Whittet is Head of the Department of Product Design Engineering, a collaborative series of Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes taught at the Glasgow School of Art and the University of Glasgow.
Craig’s approach to education focuses on how design engineers can responsibly use their skills to influence markets, manufacturing, social policy, and place the user central to the design engineering process.
Prior to working in academia, Craig’s award-winning industry background included physical and virtual product development. He continues to work within the creative sector, is a committee member of Product Design Scotland, and is a member of the Advisory Board for STAC.
