Jessica Bonehill

ArtsCraftsDesign Critic, Writer, Curator

Jessica is a design and craft professional based in Edinburgh. She works at Creative Scotland in the Creative Industries team to support the development of sustainable creative businesses nationally, in addition to specializing in craft. Jessica currently manages support and development for the craft sector in Scotland and runs the Create Networks Targeted Craft Development and Go See Share funds. Jessica is also a trustee of the Glasgow School of Art Student Association, has curated as a young associate for Historic Environment Scotland and Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, and was selected as an ambassador for the Eurocities Network on behalf of Edinburgh City Council.

Jessica holds an MA Hons in Architecture and an MSc (Res) in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh. Jessica’s research focuses on exhibiting architecture, spaces for play and young people, and access-led design, having previously worked at accessibility specialists Chambers McMillan Architects. Jessica has been published in Archinect, Edinburgh Architectural Review, Crumble Magazine, and has written for the University of Edinburgh Contemporary Collections.
