Jessie Johnson
Head of Knowledge
Jessie is driven by our purpose to improve people’s lives and passionate about the difference good design can make to individuals and their communities.
Her route into the design world seems, on the surface, unorthodox as she attended Business School majoring in Economics. However, her fascination for understanding human behaviour and psychology coupled with her tenacity to make things accessible and practical has led her to co-design flagship programmes. She has worked with partners such as; Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity, the Local Government Association and The Health Foundation to build their design skills and capability to deliver better outcomes for patients, residents and communities.
Jessie is a certified Agile programme manager, experienced facilitator, and a human-centred design practitioner (LUMA Institute). In addition, she formed part of a small team who developed Design Council’s Framework for Innovation and has applied this framework with partners across the private, public and third sectors.
Outside of work, Jessie enjoys going to the gym and running, going for long walks to explore new neighbourhoods (or treasure hunts as they are known to her son) and dancing at any and every opportunity.
