Mark is a designer with a passion for inspiring and being inspired by the next generation. He enables them with creativity and collaboration skills, supporting them to develop innovative solutions that address the growing climate and environmental challenges we face today.

In 2021, Mark became co-director of the Social Enterprise Design Nature CIC, empowering young people, educators, and organizations to embed creativity and design-led thinking through action learning for each other and for a sustainable planet. Additionally, Mark is a visiting tutor at the Loughborough University Design School and works with both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Alongside this, Mark has been running his own business, Design Thinking Ltd, for over 10 years, where he is experienced in facilitating highly interactive workshops and training, enabling organizations of all sizes to unlock their creative potential using the design process.

A former member of the design leadership team and co-founder of the UK design team at Nokia, Mark has a track record of creating and delivering world-class products and programs throughout his 30+ year career. Mark holds an MSc in Engineering Design from Cranfield University and a BA Hons in Industrial Design from Birmingham City University. Outside of work, Mark likes to spend time in the great outdoors, particularly with his family. He has a passion for fell-walking and exploring national parks such as the Lake District.
