Mark Williams

Mark is an award-winning masterplanner and Head of Development and Regeneration at LDA Design. He specialises in the visioning and masterplanning of sustainable urban developments and has led some of the practice's most complex regeneration projects over the past 15 years. Through work on masterplanning projects at a range of scales, Mark has showcased an ability to work with clients and stakeholders to arrive at a set of shared aspirations driven by purposeful sustainable development outcomes that all parties can agree with and understand where compromises may be required. Mark believes that if we are to create more resilient, healthier, and more sustainable new models of development, we must start with what people want and need from the outcome. This defines his approach, which seeks to achieve positive outcomes for people, place, and planet.
