Matilda Agace
Senior Policy and Advocacy Manager
Matilda is the Senior Policy and Advocacy Manager at the Design Council. She works with policymakers, industry leaders, designers and communities to create the enabling conditions the design sector needs to create more value for people and the planet.
She has a multidisciplinary background, working across social research, community development, and culture. Prior joining the Design Council, Matilda worked as the Senior Research and Engagement Manager at think tank Common Vision, where she led community research and participatory policy development initiatives.
Matilda has a specialist focus on making policy change a more open, collaborative, and deliberative process. She holds a MA in Digital Media, Technology and Cultural Form from Goldsmiths, and a BA in History of Art from the University of Oxford.
Outside of work, Matilda likes to cycle around London, make clothes, and go to DIY gigs.
