Meaghan Kombol

Meaghan Kombol is a landscape architect and lead green infrastructure design advisor in the Department for Education’s design team, where she provides advice on sustainable practice in the outdoor environment for schools and colleges. Over the last two decades, Meaghan has overseen the delivery of high-quality designs for residential and commercial projects as well as primary, secondary, and SEND schools.

Meaghan’s knowledge of sustainable practice, nature-based solutions, and the education environment has been recognized in her appointment as a Design Council Expert and as an Environmental Design Review Panel member at Urban Design London. Meaghan has written environment and climate change policy in the public sector as well as on the theme of sustainable delivery for the Landscape Institute Journal and in her book "30:30 Landscape Architecture" (Phaidon Press, 2015).
