Sarah is a regenerative trainer, speaker, and designer helping individuals and organizations to adopt regenerative ways of living and working inspired by living-systems success. Founder of Think like a Tree (nature-inspired life design program) and Think like a Forest (regenerative programs for leaders and team members), her work was shortlisted for the international Lush Spring prize 2023.

She is an Amazon category bestselling author of Think like a Tree: the natural principles guide to life and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Art’s Capabilities for Life Faculty. Sarah holds a Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design and has studied regenerative approaches with organizations such as Capital Institute, Laura Storm, Giles Hutchins, Regenerative Partners, NRhythm, and Gaia Education. She is a regular speaker at conferences and events on a range of regenerative nature-inspired practices for individuals and organizations.

Her background includes human rights law and she has a First-Class degree in Economics, Politics, and French. She was co-founder, chair, and lead designer for Whistlewood Common community woodland social enterprise. Sarah’s wisdom is applied in a practical way in her life and her work adopting a nature-inspired design approach throughout. She has ‘walked the walk’ for decades. She is custodian of 19 acres in South Derbyshire where she and her family have created woods, forest gardens, regenerative agriculture, and rewilding.
