Selina Rose

Selina Rose is a designer, maker, and educator with 20 years of industry experience designing for high street brands, teaching design in higher education, and running her own textile design studio. Selina’s creative practice is material-driven, working exclusively with natural renewable fibers and championing sustainable, circular, and regenerative textiles and processes. Selina works with interior designers, architects, and private clients to create bespoke wool felt, site-specific textile artworks, and interior products for residential and commercial interiors. Selina graduated in 2005 with a BA in Textile and Surface Design and recently returned to education as a postgraduate, achieving a PG Cert in Sustainability with the intention of working towards a sustainable and regenerative future by educating and supporting fellow creatives through her work as a university lecturer, workshop leader, and designer-maker. Over the past 20 years, Selina has exhibited her work worldwide, won design awards in both the UK and USA, received extensive design press coverage, and been awarded grants from Arts Council England. She is an active member of Design Nation and the Crafts Council
