Sonja Oliveira has over 20 years internationally leading design innovation and interdisciplinary research experience in the sustainability, energy technology, and design sectors. She is a Professor in Architecture at the University of Strathclyde, as well as the founder of Radical Architecture Practice Network (RAPS) and a board member of the Association of European Architecture Researchers (ARENA). She combines design, architecture, and behavioural science, as well as spatial and socio-technological analysis to understand how complex phenomena interrelate and how society may develop responsive, intelligent mechanisms in polycrisis scenarios.
